World’s first stock footage DJ

First Aperture is the stage name of the world’s first DJ act made entirely out of stock footage. On their website, fans can not only buy their single, they can buy everything: the hundreds of individuals stock assets that were used to painstakingly produce the original music and the video.

Described as a meeting between Van Buuren and Justice, the single is made up entirely of original audio files available at Getty Images - from guitar riffs to percussion, keyboards and even sports cheerleading. The video for "Take Control" shows the original and slightly ironic visual identity of First Aperture, composed entirely of videos, illustrations and incredible images from Getty Images. The final product reveals a new sound, worthy of the great festivals.

Creating a complete visual and musical identity, First Aperture's debut album is produced entirely from the leading content of Getty Images, including the accompanying music video "Take Control", the artist's website, where you can check and license each file used in music and video, and the full offer of First Aperture merchandise.
