A fantasy is now reality with the “Making Weather” speaker

Making Weather is a miniature floating mid-air cloud speaker that hovers while both playing music and lighting up in tune to your music to replicate a storm. This smart cloud is made possible through a recent collaboration between design firm Richard Clarkson and levitation specialists  Crealev. A Bluetooth speaker and sound-reactive LED lights (to simulate lightning) are embedded within the densely-packed material as well as a magnet. Another magnet (of opposite polarity) is placed within the gadget’s reflective oval base and allows the cloud to have this rotating, softly-bobbing movement. So dreamy.
